Timothy J. Medina
Tim Medina joined TelePacific as Chief Financial Officer in January 2005. Prior to TelePacific, Mr. Medina was Chief Financial Officer of two other Investcorp portfolio companies: ECI Conference Call Services, a private audio and web conferencing service provider sold to West Corp. in 2004, and Independent Wireless One Holdings (IWO), a Sprint PCS affiliate that merged into a publicly traded company in 2002.
Prior to IWO, Mr. Medina was with Verizon Communications and GTE for 13 years, serving in a number of capacities including Vice President-European Asset Management in 2001, Chief Financial Officer from 1997 until 2000 of CTI Holdings, Verizon’s former wireless subsidiary in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and as Director of Finance from 1992 to 1997 at Verizon’s subsidiary, CANTV (NYSE: VNT), the largest telecommunications company in Venezuela. Mr. Medina began his career in telecom with GTE Corporation in governmental affairs in Washington, D.C. Mr. Medina holds a Master of Science in Taxation from the Georgetown University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in Economics from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University.
