Prior to his assignment with TelePacific, Mr. Prinzi
held sales and marketing positions with Pihana Pacific Inc., WorldCom,
MFS Intelenet and Sprint.
As the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Pihana
Pacific, Inc., he participated in efforts to raise equity capital,
developed corporate business initiatives and assisted in efforts
to complete a three-way merger with Equinix and I-STT. Pihana Pacific
developed and operated Data Centers in the Asia/Pacific Region and
focused on managed Internet, telecommunications and IT infrastructure
Mr. Prinzi was Regional Vice President for WorldCom’s Pacific
Region from 1997-1999, where he managed sales, service and installations
of voice and data products to businesses throughout California and
Nevada. During that time he successfully integrated employees, processes,
and procedures from acquired companies MFS, MCI and Brooks Fiber.
From 1994-1997, he was the Pacific Division President for MFS Intelenet.
He successfully oversaw MFS’ entry into the local switched
market in California and other Western states, and contributed to
the introduction of the industry’s first integrated local/long-distance/data
T-1 service. MFS had acquired Centex Telemanagement, where Mr. Prinzi
was Vice President of Sales.
Mr. Prinzi held positions with Sprint, including Vice President/General
Manager of Sprint’s Western Business Services Group, where
he managed sales, service and sales support, and Vice President
Sales and Marketing for Sprint’s Hospitality Group, an organization
focused on providing communication services to the hotel, hospital,
university, and payphone industry.
