Mr. Medina joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer in January
2005. Prior to joining TelePacific, Mr. Medina was Senior Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer of ECI Conference Call Services
LLC/ECI Holdings, Inc., a private audio and web conferencing service
provider, where he was responsible for finance, strategic planning
and corporate development. Prior to joining ECI, Mr. Medina was
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Independent
Wireless One Holdings (IWO), a wireless operator that began operations
in 1999 and provides Sprint PCS-branded wireless service throughout
the northeastern United States, outside of the major urban areas.
Mr. Medina was with IWO until it was merged into a publicly traded
company in 2002. Prior to IWO, Mr. Medina was with Verizon Communications
for 13 years, serving in a number of capacities including Vice
President-European Asset Management, Chief Financial Officer of
CTI Holdings, Verizon's former wireless subsidiary in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, and as Director of Finance at Verizon's subsidiary,
CANTV (NYSE: VNT), the largest telecommunications company in Venezuela.
Mr. Medina began his career with GTE Corporation in governmental
affairs in Washington DC. Mr. Medina holds a Master of Science
in Taxation from the Georgetown University Graduate School of Business
and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration
in Economics from the Elliott School of International Affairs at
George Washington University.
