Note: A top-level domain (TLD), sometimes referred to as a top-level domain name (TLDN), is the last part of an Internet domain name; that is, the letters which follow the final dot of any domain name. For example, in the domain name www.example.com, the top-level domain is com (or COM, as domain names are not case-sensitive).

  1. Open Mozilla Mail 1.7.

  2. Select 'Mail and Newsgroup Account Settings...' from the 'Edit' menu, and click 'Add Account...'

  3. Select 'Email account,' and click 'Next.'

  4. Enter your full name in the ' Your Name:' field.

  5. Enter your full email address (username@yourdomain.tld) in the 'Email Address:' field , and click 'Next.'

  6. Select 'POP' as the type of incoming server you are using.

  7. Enter 'pop.telepacific.net' in the 'Incoming Server:' field.

  8. Enter 'smtp.telepacific.net' in the 'Outgoing Server:' field, and click 'Next.'

  9. Enter your username (including '@yourdomain.tld') in the 'Incoming User Name:' field and the 'Outgoing User Name:' field, and click 'Next.'

  10. Enter a name for your email account in the 'Account Name:' field, and click 'Next.'

  11. Verify your account information in the dialogue box. Clear the 'Download messages now' box, and click 'Finish.'

  12. Select 'Server Settings' listed beneath your new account.

  13. Select 'Outgoing Server (SMTP)' listed beneath your new account.

  14. Verify that 'smtp.telepacific.net' appears in the 'Server Name:' field

  15. Check the box next to 'Use name and password,' and enter your username (including '@yourdomain.tld') in the 'User Name:' field.

Congratulations! You're done configuring your client to send and retrieve messages.
