1. What is the difference between TelePacific's
Internet T1 and the Fractional T1?
TelePacific's T1 service delivers 1.544 Mbps of dedicated bandwidth
to your business. Depending on your requirements, including the
number of users and the amount of data you transfer, you may need
a full Internet T1. An Internet T1 is typically best for businesses
with (16) or more users at any one time. If you operate a smaller
business or do not require the full 1.544 Mbps of bandwidth, TelePacific
offers a Fractional T1, which has the potential to deliver from
256Kbps up to 768 Kbps, depending on the speed you select. Regardless
of choice, both solutions deliver high-speed dedicated connectivity
that is highly reliable, cost effective and extremely low maintenance.
2. Why is TelePacific's Fractional/Full
T1 better than DSL or Dial up connectivity?
Our T-1 service is a dedicated high capacity service, offering Service
Level Arrangements and network availability over DSL.
3. What type of equipment is needed?
A router is the only equipment that is required for installation.
The TelePacific T1 Router is delivered and configured to your opted
speed and is available as part of your services.
4. If I'm considering a Fractional
T1, how do I know what speed to choose?
TelePacific offers speeds ranging from 256K to 768K. The bigger
your network, the more speed you will need. Our consultative Account
Executives will be happy to assist you in this decision.
5. Are Internet Protocol (IP) and
E-mail Addresses included with my T1 service?
Yes, IP and Email addresses are a standard feature with your service.
IP addresses are allotted in increments of 8 and e-mail addresses
are in increments of 32 based upon the speed you choose. Additional
IP and Email addresses are available a la carte.
